Yesterday was not a sad day for you after all, it was a day of realisation and new beginnings. Hold on to that thought.

  • Hey P&C - just wanted to echo what people have said already, really. You have come back and that's the main thing. It shows you care, that you love your family and that you want to do the best for them and you. Also, don't forget they love you too of course!
Anyway, I hope seeing the support on here and having a DFW refresher course has made you confident and determined. Good luck! xx

It's easy to spend 10/20/30 or more years not knowing about money and then all of a sudden think things have turned around - it's not like that - it's a skill that we all needed to have learnt but for whatever reason we haven't - just needs a bit of practise that's all - it's hard to turn around a lifetime's approach to money and takes a bit of time.
What's important is you have recognised the danger signs and are taking action now.

  • hey there,

Hope today is feeling brighter. What a lovely surprise for the wife! You can come round to my place and tidy too!

Best of luck with getting back on track. You've returned to the right place. Does your wife know about things, ie is it a team effort at fighting the debt? Just wondered if it was a secret and whether that made you feel worse? Either way yesterday was an LBM and now you're taking steps in the direction you want to go in. Lots of hugs x
