Chinese veg & freezing

Hi all

Ive got 2 tins of chinese veg, one bamboo shoot one water chestnuts.

We'll only use half of each tin, can I freeze the rest or not?

    I don't see why not.Not done it myself,but if I were in your situation I'd definitely bung them in the freezer no problem.

    I've frozen tinned bamboo shoots and water chestnuts before, and we all survived. I doubt that tinned veg have been frozen previously, so it should be fine.

    No, they were fine, though I rinsed them in a water before freezing to get rid of the brine.
