.... sometimes the bargain shelf in the co-op mesmerises me.
Basically I've got four frozen Aberdeen Angus beefburgers, bought in the summer and frozen, I doubt I will use them now. So what I thought was, if I let them defrost and then perhaps make them into something like meatballs do you think that would work. I have some frozen flaky pastry that needs using as well could I make a pie filling. Or any other suggestions would be gratefully received.

Meatballs is a great idea, they are good quality burgers so should be meaty enough. If you find they don't stick abck together well try crumbling a weetabix into the mix, my MIL swears by this.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

My friend's mother used to make a tangy tomato/onion type sauce (like a pasta sauce) to pour over part cooked burgers, it would go into the oven for a bit, be topped with cheese & called 'Vienna steaks' - great served with mashed potato.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0

You could also break them up, fry with onions & veg to make a curry or alternatively, fry with onions, carrots and other veg, add some nicely flavoured gravy in a dish, cover with mashed potatos and turn into a Cottage Pie.0

no reason why you cant crumble them up - I did it when i didnt have enough mince to make meatloaf!0
