i decided enough is enough earlier in the year my weight had crept up over he years also my husbands,i did a lot of research as i never dieted before and ad read about the pit falls of ending up bigger then what you started out, I'm all coeliac so also on a gluten free diet, my husband was very anti diet he didn't want to feel weak and hungry all the time, so i embarked on this diet by myself but after a week or so, my other half joined in, we are very please with the results, we never get week or hungry, he weight lose have over taken mine, though he had a lot more to lose , i found the low carb forum great too for lots of info and links .. sue0

Have read the book & it is a really good read, very funny at times, and I see myself in them so much!!
As lostinrates said, it is essentially a low-carb diet but not as hard-core as Atkins. If you follow the meal plans/recipes you will see (and they do admit) that it is an expensive diet to follow.
Nerys & India also encourage you to walk at least 30 minutes every day, building up to longer as you go through the book, this definitely seems to help the weight loss/toning, & it's something I try to do myself.
Anyway, I would recommend the IPD book. It was £4.99 on Play.com when I bought it a few months ago & it's definitely a book I will keep going back to for inspiration, ideas etc.0
