Eco Cleaning to Save £'s

Can anyone give me any ideas/links to tips on how to save £'s :money: on cleaning through changing to environmentally friendly cleaning. I have heard that bicarbonate of soda is really good and that it is poss to use something in the washing machine but am not sure what :confused: . Please help :D

    Ooh, you'll be loving the 'Moneysaving' OS boards for tips on this front!

    For general cleaning I'd defnitely recommend Stardrops and microfibre cloths, low cost and very effective! You'll never need anything else (enviro-friendly too!)

    For the washing machine, there are lots of different ideas and experiences on the OS boards. Pop over there! Personally, I've just halved the amount of liquid I use.
