  • ooooh, can i recommend sainsbury's basics apples, they are flipping gorgeous, huge and really cheap!

If i pick them loose they are about 90p for 8 massive apples and if they are sold out i go for the pre packaged ones which are currently 89p for a bag of about 6 and they were breaburns and next to them were the sainsburys own brand breaburn at £1.89:eek:

Tesco value shortbread is also fab with a cuppa and at 9p for a pack a true bargain.

Tesco's value bran flakes excellant value at 78p for a huge box
Tesco's non bio liquid detergent as good as persil and only £2.62 for a big bottle
Sainsbury's cheapy curry sauce,(about 4-6p)my grandson likes to dip his chips in it so I decant some into a smaller container and heat in the microwave for him.The rest of the jar I use to make a curry with any veggies that have past their best from the fridge then portion up for the freezer.I don't waste anything at all.
P.S. if you know anyone with a baby, try and bag some of the empty baby food jars, excellant for small portions of curry sauce
