I'm kicking debt/financial butt today!

Just wanted to boast about how much of a high I am on today about moneysaving. Been a bit slack of late after having to change our car, along with associated costs (tax/insurance etc) I feel I'm getting back on top. Although I don't think I've truely had my lightbulb moment yet I do think I am making better financial decisions; heres todays examples:
*car insurance direct debit mandate arrived with new figure for monthly repayment, I was told it would be roughly £145 per month for the 3 months to end of policy (we're both quite young, its powerful car, kept on road, changing 3/4 through policy) It said £221! I got striaght on phone and found out i had been wrongly informed of costs, (wasnt told it was in addition to what i was already paying and that i had payment protection on the damn thing to! (cancelled that straight away!) I have now made a complaint that PPI was added on without my consent and that I wasnt given all the correct info to base my decision on! Waiting for a call back from regional manager!
*Called Orange after my last mob bill was £92, I dont actually pay my bill a company I do a bit of work for does, but still thought I/they needed a better deal, went through to the 'I'm considering leaving orange lady" = I got a new handset (snazzy little flip thing) 400 minutes and 500 texts all for £30 a month (my old talk plan price!) Just found that environfone will take my old handset for £38.47 too!:T
*wrote 2 kick @ss letters for my dad about cancelling his ppi and claiming back unfair charges for him!
*managed to earn an extra £96 this month from mystery shopping and got paid today!
*Best of all - its pay day today and I've not left the house and bought anything, trying to figure out how much can be put away in different budget accounts andhow much to throw at debt! woo
essay over! :rotfl:

More achievements today, recently downgraded to the billy basic tv package with NTL (hate them) checked out their prices online last night and found that they are doing the family pack half price for 6 months! which is the same price as i'm paying already! So I called them to "upgrade" and now have the family pack (my boyfriend is re-attached to the remote!) for £1 a month less then I am paying already?! How does that work! Chuffed anyway!0
