Really basic fishermans pie.....
Cod in butter sauce - 2 packets (can be increased depending on how many feeding) add tinned sweetcorn if you like it or peas.
Mashed potato on top topped with cheese sauce/or just grated cheeseIt's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0 -
Hi
Never heard of Bacon dumplings but I googled and got

Fish Pie
Any fish ( I used a combination of white fish/salmon/prawns)
Milk
Grated cheese
Hard boiled egg
Frozen peas
Mashed potatoes
Poach fish in milk
Remove fish and arrange in a deepish serving dish
Add quartered hard boiled eggs and frozen peas to the dish
Use the milk (that the fish was poached in) to make a white sauce
Add grated cheese and black pepper to the sauce and pour over the fish/eggs/peas
Top with mashed potato
Pop into a hot oven for 20 mins or until the potato is golden
Sorry I haven't included quantities, but this is a recipe I made up myself, so I tend to make it up as I go along.

Fish pie is even more delicious if you add capers
I use the made up recipe above, too! I use any fish that's going, not just white fish. Salmon is nice, for example, if you've got some. You can even use tinned salmon if you like!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
