Chicken and lentil soup?

Hi, i have finally decided to make some soup using some chicken pieces, a bag of soup lentils and some stock! Well it looks horrid but funnily enough tastes quite nice.

Not sure if im doing it right though! i thought it looked a bit watery so i blended it all together and now it looks a bit thick! (cant win)

Any tips on soup making and how and what to do would be great!

Thank you
Love is all around! :rotfl:

Try blending only part of it next time so you have thick liquid and lumpy bits too. Perhaps disguise the colour a little by adding green bits ie. chives on top.
  • If you add in carrots it will give it a lovely colour and some finely chopped garlic gives it a nice flavour.
