I'm just trying to figure out if my computer at work has a memory card slot, then I could get them on tomorrow.. there's a bit that pops out but I'm not sure what's meant to go in there :rotfl:

Making sure that I put the money left before payday where it's meant to be.. just paid £109.91 to my overdraft, making it under £1000 at last - £920 to be exact! And *drum roll* my total paid off for the year is exactly £1500 :j

A blogs a great way of keeping a record of what you're upto....I ventured into it a few weeks back but spend far to much time looking at what everyone else is making to get on and make more of my own stuff :D

You should pop over to the special occasions boards, there's the "sewing room" thread on there that's a mine of information all things sewing related.

Squizz, how brilliant is that about your overpayment! Well done you, you're zooming along. Finding somewhere special for the sewing is a good'un too, you do so much, its a really good idea to have somewhere particular, especially since you seem to be making a lot of them as Christmas presents - if you photo everything, you'll still have them, so to speak.

The debt is getting there, slowly - well, faster than it was! Will be another chunk gone on Friday when I get paid.

I am definitely considering the blog - just for sewing though, or for gardening and other 'making' exploits.. .I have lots of photos of plants and pots of jam :D Good idea about the presents too - I made a bag for a friend's birthday which I took a photo of before I posted it to her. Got photos onto PC at home last night but not got round to putting any online yet - meant to bring my memory card to work but forgot :o Planning to finish the last dining room chair tonight so that should be another few photos :)

I had a look at your blog Pooky - it's brilliant! Will check out the Special Occasions board too - oh no another thing to keep track of and no doubt make me want to do all sort of other things :rotfl:

Work is a bit funny today - lots of things to do which seemed a bit daunting but have either turned out to be really quick or I'm having to wait for other people to get back to me on them.

Aaargh busy morning  A few deadlines have coincided causing something approaching chaos! Calmed down a bit now although it's taken me about half an hour to actually write this post as things keep appearing...

Been asked to take on some extra work for a couple of weeks for job no2, covering for the people who run the scheme while they are on holiday - should make me an extra £75-ish if I've worked it out right, not bad for 4 hours work!

Finished the dining room chairs last night - they look really good now they're all done :)

Ooh payslip has arrived... £1236. I can do some sums now...
