I'm waiting for them to get back to me, but from my investigations online they may have calculated it by total months (which they are entitled to do) rather than by days - so it's worked to end of April rather than almost the end of May - grr! Still nothing I can do and I'm not gonna starve.

Hooray it's Friday - that was a tired hooray though.. yawn! Stayed up till about 11.30 watching the first couple of election results come in and then woken up early by neighbour's alarm, followed by Mr S getting up early to take car for its MOT (fingers crossed for no massive repairs needing done!)

Bit more relaxed re the annual leave thing now though still waiting for confirmation of how they've calculated it. I have plenty of money really, not planning any big spends in the next couple of months and if the debt is paid off a bit slower, well so be it. It's all worth it to escape this job!

Talking of which Mr S is looking for a new job now - he's seen a couple of things but they're fixed term and of course he has a mortgage to pay and doesn't want that worry. I sort of want to tell him to go for it as we'd manage but not sure if it'd freak him out if I start talking about two years time or the idea of me helping support him.. sigh.

Just got a really good deal on My City Deal - spa day at a local place for £26 (worth £87) - had £9 credit on my account on there from recommending other people and £5 cashback via Quidco so actually cost me £12! My mate is coming down for a weekend in June so she's bought it too, should be a good girly day out!

Also made a little rounding up payment to my overdraft - debt now £9100 and amount paid since start of April £200. I've paid £885.38 since December - even if I say it myself, wow!

Morning.... Monday here too fast! Good weekend, did a lot of wondering what to do on Saturday morning then ended up going into town and doing some shopping - somehow lost 3 hours and felt shattered!

Sunday went for a walk along the Derwent Valley - lovely mix of habitats from the river to woods to moorland (and some very steep slopes!). Home, takeaway for tea and Doctor Who - forgot to watch it on Saturday

Two weeks to go at work - having a bit of "aargh I want to stay here, it's familiar" but mainly want to go and get stuck in to the new job. Still debating over whether to say to Mr S he should go for the fixed term jobs, I don't really want to have a big serious relationship talk but maybe I should.

You should.....talk to him about the fix job and house and moving in. I suspect he has presumed that its inevitable but just hasn't said anything!

sounds like a good weekend anyway squizz :)
Have you been out running lately, don't get to hear much about it these days

I know I should, I just feel a bit stressed about the fact I have to bring it up - and am a bit scared.. things are fine but I just want to know what he's thinking, what if I make him feel under pressure?

Not been running much, had a few aches and pains and a severe lack of motivation, just been doing the odd little plod round to keep it ticking over.

Just say there is no pressure on him but you would like him to consider this option..if its not something he's up for then thats fine, you're putting it on the table as an option. Biting the bullet sometimes pays off :) Don't get stressed about it though , really there isn't anything to worry about.
