I used to love Home Bargins when I was at uni, shame there isn't one down here in the deep dark south. We used to go once a week and buy out their stock of biscuits really...

Congrats on getting onto the PGCE! I'm sure you'll love it! That reminds me, I need to contact my uni to see when I have to register etc, I think it's a month away but haven't heard anything yet. Starting to get worried!

  • Thanks! I received enrolment info a couple of weeks ago (when I was still conditional) so you should hopefully get info soon. Do you have an idea of your start date?

  • Total spends yesterday: take away curry for me and hubby £17 (with soft drinks) petrol £20

Had a curry last night which was abit naughty :o but had a lovely cheap evening apart from that watching Beatles night on BBC 2, fab.
Did also put hubby off going on a late night cinema trip when it had finished which would have ended up costing around £20

And, considering I celebrated getting into uni by buying a book?! (how rock n roll am I, although it was a very special John Lennon book) I think i deserved it! :p

    Right, total spends today:

Morrisons shop- £38 (was £42 but get 10% discount) - this should last as all week and includes cleaning stuff/washing tablets etc as well (had some good deals)

Will just need to get a couple of frozen bits from iceland tomorrow for roast dinner on Tuesday.
