  • Really good on your CD sales - do you go on Ebay or some special music site?

I just sell on Amazon! I can't be bothered with Ebay for CDs and books, just easier to do on Amazon. I have got loads of stuff to sell on Ebay though!

Right, realised it might not be wise to publicise my blog on here, never know who's reading, but here is a link to the photos of my lovely little residence post re-organisation / tidy!

V quiet day today at work, and am quite knackered. Waiting for my dinner to cook ;-)
  • Took a look at your blog photos - can see why you are selling your CDs - you have tonz of them. Lovely pics and even the back door key fob got in on the act!!

Yep, I really do! The left hand cabinet is almost entirely listed on Amazon, and the ones at the very end of the right hand cabinet at the bottom, is what I'm definitely keeping - it's not even two shelves yet! Still got to get the rest of the other two cabinets listed. And the DVDs and games on the main book case, and then maybe another go through of the bookcase. The stuff I'm listing on Amazon is random; books in twos / threes to see if it goes, clothes, random bric a brac type things.

I must stop being quiet! I keep getting sidetracked with things! Felt a bit rubbish this week as if I'm coming down with summat, so took yesterday afternoon off.

This week spare time has mostly involved knitting projects of various sorts for christmas. Only 11 weeks of knitting time (sod the rest of christmas preparation). However, yesterday I was slightly otherwise domesticated and cooked some lovely pasta sauce which was supposed to last for 4 meals, but I was so greedy i seem to have eaten it in two... oops! That said, no need for further grocery shopping until at least the end of this week, so who knows, maybe I will make budget this month.

Today and yesterday were NSDs, hoping tomorrow will join them too! Been a lot better with spending diary this week, although not so good on the actual spends, sometimes I really seem to be able to put the blinkers on. On the plus side, the naughty spend was on the licence for my banking software which has done a lot better for me than the excel spreadsheet was doing, so don't feel that guilty, and it wasn't too expensive.

Had a chat with kind of boss about the job he offered to me; upshot is that I don't have to decide right now, but I can pretty much go and work in Norwich doing my current job if my colleague is ok with that, and might end up doing both jobs! Am really happy about this, as means I can save about £100 a month just by going on the bus. Not redone my budget yet, but will be doing so!

Have completedly started a new filing system and done all filing - took most of the afternoon, but now everything looks so neat and tidy it's untrue - and I know where to find everything!

    Thanks Shoegal

Unfortunately I had some really sucky bad news yesterday. I have to move, my landlords have decided they want to move back into the house.

Am absolutely gutted. I love my house (ok, so it's not mine, but it has been my home), I love the village where I live. I went on Right Move at lunchtime, and there's nothing anywhere as nice in my price range, and there is no way I'll be able to stay in this village because it simply doesn't have any more one bed properties.

I genuinely don't know what to do now. Everything was just getting nice and settled, I have to find money to move yet again, I have to put off job move decision because I don't know where I'll be living to know what makes the most sense travel wise.

My lease isn't up until February, so maybe something nice will come up before then, but part of me wants to move sooner rather than later to try and get settled again.

I really really hate moving every few months, this is the part of renting that I really really hate

Sorry to read that you have to move, just as you were getting settled - as you say, it is part of the renting cycle unfortunately.

If you have until February, I would make the most of the time to look for somewhere else without pressure - there are lots of letting agents in the area and I am sure you will find something nice within your price range before your lease runs out.
