  • Well, the plan of room tidying didn't work out.

The Gp's had a bit of a fight this morning, no blood but they did need some time out on the bed and I needed to flap. Then the heating didn't come on and we phoned the Gas people and waited........................and waited................... then the heating came on randomly of its own accord.....................we cancelled Gas people. :o:o:o:o

Then I watched hours of Bones with my Mum :o. It was good. I did clean the two small fish tanks and check the bankyness. am still fairly skint. but ho hum.

SO that is tomorrow's job. Need to go to Sainsburys too. the Gp's have run out of veg and I need something to eat other then turkey and Chocolate!

I also need to do some work. Oh why can't I quit my job and run away and join the circus..........................

Shouldn't your main plan for new year be to schedule some 'me time'?:p

thanks Catspaw - I have some me time today and yesterday xxxx

But honestly, you know all I ever do with me time is worry that I am not doing something I should. People have far more busy lives and huge demands on their time. I think although it is a nice thought I just need to suck it up and get on with it. carry on being a grown up.

  • Hi Buffy, glad you have had a nice Christmas. i think driving would open up a lot of options for you so go for it. Lots of driving schools offering a free first lesson as well so chose one you feel comfy with. Plenty of free advice on Theory test as well, in fact i am just encouraging my two youngest to drive. Then i can finally take the Taxi sign down and hide the keys ( for when they do pass ;)
Good luck with your goals this year and a great post about having saved to pay off your cc this month. x

  • Right have wasted half of today being miserable, did make it out to the supermarket for Guinea pig food but then sat around feeling srry for myself. I must remember that staying in for days on end just makes me miserable.

Eventually at 7 pm !!!!!! I got off my bum and started to reorganise my room, have done all the heavy lifting and have clean sheets. Tomorrow is paper work day and sorting of Books, Clothes, shoes for e bay/ amazon, plus clean out the GP's bless them!

I think I might end up burning my old bank statments and bills!! there are loads........

Any how after the heavy lifting tonight I am now eating cheese and biscuits. THere are good things in life.

    Night all xxxxx
