Possibly best to plan the learning to drive, reading the handbook etc and getting lessons once most of the snow is off the roads. Makes it a little easier.
Hope you have a good break and don't overdo it. That includes the making of listsAfter falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91

Just wanted to wish you a very merry Christmas Buffy.
Odd that several people from here ended up on my christmas card list!! Alas, I can't send a physical one, so here's the next best thing.

a woman with a car can do anything, go anywhere & sing at the top of her voice to any tunes she wants to :j
It will change your life.
V right - have only had mine two years and have no idea how I managed before (well actually I do know -I was stuck with living in London, yeuch). Mind you I have forgotten absolutely everything from my car maintenance course, even though I was so proud of myself for doing it - the only useful thing I can still tell you is 'the Haynes manual is in the box in the boot'! :rotfl:
You'll have a whole new element of freedom.:j
I second the Do Nowt Day plan!

I have a challenge for you :eek:pick one day over the holidays where you plan to the finest detail....................................................to do absolutely nothing but stuff your face with chocolate, watch trashy TV and talk to us on here:D
This will be forever known as The day that Buffy does absolutely nothing and doesnt worry about things that she should be doing (or something more catchy:p)
Much love

I am so determined to drive. I could have gone and seen my aunts and uncles plus seen more of my friends. Next Christmas is going to be so different. This is the last Christmas I will spend doing shopping and dragging it up the hill or constantly paying for cabs so I can bring work home for the holidays cos I can't get in earlier enough due to the Buses etc.
Whilst I am here,Thank you to everyone who posts here, I love reading your replies and appreciate all the help and suggestions.
Happy Christmas to everyone, now I really must wrap my presents up! :rotfl:

Oh how lovely to come back such great messages xxx
Well today was, well I could moan for England but honestly my family may not be very good at expressing themselves emotionally or physically but materially wow! they have got it going on! so moaning would be pathetic. I am so spoilt.
Lets just say they are fab and I love them.
