I think a good old cry does you the world of good, a bit like a pressure valve being released..........

Hope you have a lovely evening with your friend xxx
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

So sorry about the guinea pig disaster but I bet the crying was a release that you needed. I'm glad you feel better now. Have a great night out and all the best for the observation tomorrow - I'll be thinking of you, hon.

  • Hello folks,

its been a rough week, the obs went well (2) so I was pleased with that. But my "friend" is really hurting my feelings. She is so competitive keeps going on about her great resources and making little remarks about how I haven't done my planning (she decided to teach the lessons in a different order, so of course my resource weren't ready - the lessons weren't due to be taught till next week- so actually that is a lie)

She also said I was being cold, (we are now apparently 14 years old) cos I have barely spoke to her err she hasn't been around? and in any case she has been making suggestions that I didn't teach properly for crying out loud! Why should I be being nice to her? - not that I have even been nasty. being little miss bloody professional.

I just am sick of it. Utterly sick of it.

    take care all xxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • I kinda of wish I hadn't posted that there, I don't want the poison from work to permate this place. I know why she is behaving the way she is, it is all about paranioa (I can never spell that) and I know how scary it is to work here.

I was thinking that if I could get myself organised I would be able to do my job, it is all about organisation, doing things early, planning and being prepared. I MUST devote some time to that this break. A lot of time. I know I can achieve more I just really need to stop letting outside things push me in? and instead push them back and make my life the way I want it to be.

Right I am away to my bed

    see you all tomorrow

well actually I am out to dinner tomorrow night so Saturday morning with a hangover

    xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • All I can say is, you're better than all of that crap Buffy.

    I hope you have a lovely dinner, and a not-too-painful hangover :)

  • Hello,

I wrote a really long post but then my computer decided to restart itself.bit annoying.

    Basically

    1. dinner good and no hangover!!
    2. Friends very good
    3. got busy weekend (not really sure I want to do it all to be honest)
    4. spoke to some other work friends who are doing the same marking, panicking etc.

So love Saturdays. going to have a little nap now!

Cannot believe the top story on BBC is Tiger woods not playing golf any more. WHO CARES? so he has turned out to be scummy and dishonest and cheated on his wife with every blonde woman going - HOW is that more important then other world events?

    nap then breakfast

    see you later xxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Hi Buffy, seems like this "friend" is trying to build herself up by putting you down.
I would put that down more as an environmental thing than anything personal. You shouldn't have to put up with it, but not much you can do about it either.

Glad the ob went okay and the piggies are a little more settled. Are you sure the bookcase is ruined? Could some revarnishing fix it?

Try not to focus quite so much on the DFD. I know you will be alot happier once it's gone but don't want you dwelling on that so much that it distracts you from other things. A few months either way won't make that big a difference, but could influence the way you are feeling. You are the most important thing in all this (along with piggies). Everything else can take a back seat and you'll deal with it in due time.

Hope you had a good weekend.
