Thanks a million, Buffy. I am sitting here staring at the books almost in tears because I know that I really SHOULD mark them but at the same time I am struggling to keep my eyes open! A sugar paper task is exactly what I was thinking! It so lovely to speak to someone who understands!
I think Special Educational Needs would be a really rewarding area to work in. Have you ever thought of doing a SENCO course?

I paid off Halifax card.
Got a bit of a shock re my other cc tho, some how the balance is 438 pounds. Now I REALLY don't get that. I know spent 126 on tescos(house), 40 on christmas dinner, 97 in homebase(house), 25 on Asda(Christmas), but that leaves 150 uncounted for which makes me feel quite sick.
I didn't buy train tickets in the end, I *may* have shopped on it........... weekly shopping........................yeah, once in Morrisions, once in Sainsburys,
!!!!!!!!!
I will pay half now and half when I have finished my Xmas shopping.
All that Money! gone on the house and .............................
Oh well done now.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
I have now paid 200 pounds off the other card, so it stands at 238.
hmmm.
I reckon I will have the money. I *may* attempt to e bay over the weekend.
Must sort out what I need to buy for Christmas. I do get paid once more before Christmas...................
And Beanie my Loan repayment is 448 a month.
Oh Lou, I know exactly how you feel. I have to set targets each time I mark and its all fine but honestly it all ridiculous the stuff you can't set targets on, must skill based can't be about presentation or spelling or using full sentences, I end up writing !!!!! for SEN kids who won't understand a word but hey it looks good when my books are monitored once a month.
I know my friend didn't mean it exactly she is pretty self absorbed and just opens her mouth - we are all extremely paraniod.
Positives
No more Halifax bills
Nearly no more Tesco bills
and a cuddle from the guinea pigs, plus when my lesson finished today the kids actually groaned cos we were having so much fun and they "hadn't" finished" bless em.

And that's what keeps us going in spite of all of the other !!!!. Honestly if it wasn't for some of the lovely kids I teach, I don't think I would be able to drag myself out of bed in the morning! Although, to be fair I think I have probably bored some of them out of their brains this week which is what happens when you spend half your life marking and not planning fabulous, all singing all dancing lessons. Drives me mad as that's the bit that I actually love!!

oh dear what is about teachers eh! I could have written that. exactly that in fact!
must finish my powerpoints for tomorrow
xxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Yep, that's exactly what I'm doing as we speak. Thanks for letting me have a vent and for the advice, Buffy. Take care tomorrow and don't let the b*****ds grind you down!

Ok that is another week over with. School was foul and stressful but it is over now. Found out on Thursday I am being observed on Monday oh joy.
I came home from work had dinner and was in bed by 8.10!!! Felt SO tired it was awful.
I need to be really organised this weekend tho. Everything is happening backwards, I should have done the conservatory by now so I had some where to wrap presents and work but I haven't.
Ok so its nearly ten everywhere is a mess and I Must go shopping because my friend is down this weekend and I am meant to be getting her presents.
I am going to make my Christmas list.
then go shopping
then depending on time do the conservatory ? no that is not realistic.
I also need to mark loads too. I could cry to be honest. meant to be seeing my friend Monday too. I hate my stupid stinking job. Sorry I know that is really obvious and it is my choice to stay there but it is the pits right now. Having Mum back is lovely in many ways but it means we are back in the old rotine and we keep arguing about stupid things. it was cereal bowls this monring.
I think realistically whatever time I go out shopping the shops will be packed now so maybe I should get dressed and either tidy up my room? or the conservatory?
Well getting dressed would be a start in any case.
xxxxxxx
ps Lou - hope the rest of the week went ok?Nevertheless she persisted.0
