anyone know of any websites where you can sell books? i have quite a few to sell so i can't really be bothered with ebay as i would have to post them all myself individually which involves taking a long lunchbreak in order to queue in the post office. :(

I found that Amazon trade-in accepted a lot of my books that other websites wouldn't...however they only gave me 25p a book which isn't too good.

Swapshop.co.uk. You set the price for items. Though you have to accrue 5000 points before you can request a cheque for the currency equivalent of £50.
  • I'm interested in finding more sites like music magpie too, its no secret that they give you chicken feed most of the time. I've been looking at Zapper (zapper.co.uk) and they seem to be slightly better value than music magpie. but i'm gonna take time to compare all the other sites folk have listed on this thread. I've had a look at ebay and amazon, but by the time you've paid all the relevant fees, you're not much better off than you would have been at one of these "recycle" sites. Plus, you'll have wasted a fair bit of time posting individual items and listing them on ebay or amazon. Also, theres always the chance that your things on ebay won't shift!
music magpie lets you print out your own label (i imagine the other sites probably do too) then you can just shove your things in a box, send them off, get your cheque a while later, and have a few pints
anyway, thanks for sharing these other "recycle" sites, defo having a look into them straight away!
