We bought a Morphy Richards machine that has the filter and the espresso and the steam nozzle and it is great...cost about £45 last year, and we use it quite a lot...depends on how much you want to spend on it too.
Hope that helps a wee bit.

ive bought a breville espresso machine off ebay, its the anthony worrall thompson cm7.
i cant seem to get the milk hot enough when using the steam nozzle, it doesnt say anything about warming the milk first.
Can anyone give me a guide as to how i should make a latte/capuchino etc

    thanks

Are you letting it warm up long enough to get good pressure for the steam? I also find with my machine I get limescale build-up every couple of months so the steam nozzle isn't as efficient. A dose of ScaleAway etc does the trick. If I'm starting with very cold milk, In put the nozzle into the milk deeper until it eats up nicely then raise it to nearer the surface to get a good froth. My machiner is a DeLonghi Caffe Treviso, which is nearly foolproof and doesn't take up much counter space.
You can always get more with a kind word and a 2-by-4 than with just a kind word.
