Hiya Hayley,
Whenever I go for the more expensive stuff in the meal deal it's never £2.99, the price always goes up.
I like collecting my points. hehe0 -
Hi all,
Havent updated for a while.
Am now settled back in my parents place. Moved out last October and saving every penny me and my OH can. We now have double savings than what we had before we moved out.
Our target is around 20k and we have about 6,450 at the moment so a long way to go. We are managing to save around £750 - £800 a month which is great, altough we are not having much of a life...
I'm still on part time wages and no overtime at the moment. The bosses know my interest for more hours and said they will look into it so here's hoping. Am looking for some morning work elsewhere too.
Also working on a nvq within work which I should have completed by April.
It's ok living at home but hate going back to living as a teenager. It's so hard not being with OH every night. I see him Tuesday nights and then the weekend so it's not too bad but we want our own place so much. A two bed place round our way is around £170,000 and we need a 10% deposit so hoping in a year and a half we will be ready. We will both be 26 by that time. Just hoping they are still asking for a 10% deposit by that time.
Anyways, am at work and we have an open day so better go. Will check some of the other diaries to see how everyone is getting on0 -
Have had a look at my budget for the rest of the month until pay day and worked out how many more direct debits I will be paying out. Had about £70 left so transfered £50 over to the savings and left £20 just incase! I have to be careful so that I don't go overdrawn and get charged £30. I put in bits to my savings throughout the month rather than just at the end so that it feels like I'm getting somewhere weekly.
Have not spent any money so far this week, apart from a milkshake from the canteen for £1.20.
Got money on my osyter card which should last me till Thursday and will be putting £10 on it on Friday. Have £5 I owe my mum. Going out with the boy on Friday with his work friends. Going to TGI's so have budgeted £20 for that although I'm preety sure he won't let me pay for it.
Have put in £300 to the savings so far this month. Am hoping to make that £350 for the whole month which is ok. Shall see how much my boyfriend has saved by the end of the month.0 -
