The way your designing your room sounds very similar to a room in my apartment. We got our flowery black and white wallpaper from B&Q too.

I LOVE Italy and Italian food. My OH and I have been to several places in Italy, Milan, Pisa, Florence. We wanted to go to Rome in July, but instead went to Madrid because we booked it late and all the flights had gone.

Have a lovely lunch with your folks today chick!

I got my wallpaper from Homebase as B&Q didnt have one that I liked enough.

We stripped the old wallpaper off yesterday which was blimming hard work!!

Have spoken to the letting agency and our flat is now up for rent. Weird seeing your home on the internet! So got to wait and see if there is any interest in it now, better get the flat spic and span! Might start bagging stuff up that I won't need for the next 2 months.

I've had a busy morning at work so glad this afternoon is quiet. At least got a bit of overtime this morning. I had to spend £1.50 on two bottles of water as our water machine was broken. Just my luck as soon as I buy them the guy comes to fix it!! Grrr.

No other money spent today apart from bus fare. Dinner we already have so no need to buy anything else today.

I'm sooo tired, think I'll go make another cup of tea.

Well only doing afternoon in work today, been here an hour so far.

Have not spent any money today apart from bus fare so all good. OH is out tonight so I'll prob make myself beans on toast for dinner.

Mum and dad have gone away to the countryside until Friday. I'm such a baby, miss them so much when they are away and get a bit .....nervous......I'm so weird! :(
Mum said she would bring me some fudge back. :D

Not long till I go away now, just over 2 weeks. Am nervous as I hate flying so much. Can't wait for the actual holiday although I need to get a few things before I go.

Money situation ok at the moment, not fantastic but will have enough to get me to payday, (just over a week away!). I just wanna move back home now and not see all my pay go straight out again!

    1 week till payday :D.

Am struggling by this month, just have enough to pay the last of my bills.

Roll on October! Will probably help my dad to some more decorating my room at the weekend. Looking forward to it all being ready.

Have not done so well on the not spending money thing. Had a kfc last night and have not been doing my lunches so been spending money on boots meal deals (at least I'm getting some points I guess :o). So am a bit dissapointed with myself.

Was sorting through some stuff in the flat last night and came across a £20 gift voucher for next which was given to me for my birthday in April. I thought I had lost it. So might pop in there at the weekend to spend it. :j

This weeks been a funny one. I just don't feel myself really. Just getting really impatient and fed up. Went out last night with some girls from work but was good and just had one coke. Just not feeling up to it at the moment.

I think the holiday in 2 weeks is going to do me good. I really plan to take advantage of it and just chill and enjoy myself and try not to argue with the OH. ;)

Great news about the Next voucher, its great when you find something you thought you'd lost.

I struggle with lunches too, its so easy just to buy it, and the boots meal deal is a good offer, only if you buy the most expensive items like i do lol, but it soon all adds up, thats what shocked me into either starving during the day or bringing in my own.

I have £6 in my purse, so i may see if i can last till Sunday too. It can be our little challenge Hayz!

Have you done any holiday shopping yet? Not that i'm telling you to go shopping, definitely not!

    Hi Hayley. :)

Good luck with the £6 challenge. I've still got £4.05 but havent left the house yet!

I need to get some things for holiday. Am paid next thursday so going to take a trip to primark then and hopefully get some bargains!!

Today I'm not in a good mood. Two of the plugs in this rented flat are not giving any power out and apparently the electrician is coming today before 12. I go to work just after 12. Today is normally my lay in day but I've been up since 7:30 and not in the best mood. What's the betting he comes at 11!! And to top it off I've run out of tea bags and can't pop out in case he comes. :(

Checked my online banking, it's ok. Just enough to get me through till next Thursday.

Grr, I just want him to come now so I get a chance to go back to bed for a bit.

On a positive, my mum and dad are back today so will pop in to see them later. :)

Still got the £4.05 left in purse. :D

Have been thinking about how much I spend on getting the bus to and from work everyday and it adds up to quite a bit...(£40 a month). At the moment where I am living it's way to far to walk to work but when I move back home I'm thinking of starting to walk as it's closer. Might get the bus when it's raining/cold or if I'm feeling tired. Been working out the distance and it's 1.95 miles to get to work from my mum and dads house which is estimated to take me about 38 mins. I'm sure I can manage this, might lose some weight too!

I think I will try that for a bit and then see about cycling to work. I love cycling but hate being on the roads. It would probably take me 10 - 15 mins to get to work if I cycled which would be cool but I dunno... hmmm I'll have to see.
  • Hello! Just came across your diary :hello: and wanted to say hi!

I'm the same age as you and me and hubby are renting as well. It's really great that you can move back in with your parents and save more money for a deposit :D
