PLEASE HELP, I can't go on like this!!

Please can someone help and advise me. I have been very silly over many years, spending on credit cards and moving balances to 0% and not taking the benefit of them. I now have a credit card with Virgin totalling £8,500, A Card with Mint with £2,500 & a couple of others with a few hundred on each. My income has dropped due to having a child and only being able to work part time. My husband is on a DMP himself so can not help. I didn't really want to do one as I felt it would screw both our credit histories, although I am associated with him anyway I guess as we are married?!
The problem now is that the Virgin card min payment is £115 PM as the 0% has ended and the interest each month is £120 so I am just paying the interest and even then still accruing more debt!! I am so stressed about it, I am now on tablets and not sleeping. I no longer use credit cards and am desperate to get out of debt, with my hubby too, we feel like we are drowning! We have a property which now has no equity, we are paying the mortgage and could not bear the thought of loosing my home, I would simply not want to go on.
I know this is totally my fault but am desperate to pay them back but I simply cannot afford it and its scaring me. Virgin have been totally un-helpfull and say there is nothing they can do without seriously damaging my credit rating. PLease help, I just don't know what to do!!
Thanking you in advance.:(

Hi and welcome
Please can you fill out a statement of affairs so that we can see your incomings and outgoings and then we can advise from there. https://www.makesenseofcards.com/soacalc.html and follow the instructions on there to allow you to copy and paste it here (take off the bit at the end where there are weblinks as you cannot post those here). Once we have that then we can advise on where to make savings and what to do about the cards.0 -
hi, the good thing about these rorums are that most of us (if not all!) are in the same boat, before i contacted the ccccs i was also v worried about my credit rating but after a lot of soul searching i decided that all the stress and worry was sill (u only get 1 life), our credit rating was so bad after the last 2 years of paying bills late and falling behind on our cards etc we didnt really have anything to lose, after speaking to a lot of v nice people on here it made me realise that by getting help didnt nessecarily mean losing our home.i no things seem bad at the mo but things will improve. take care of yourself
