Can I put frozen double cream in tonight's dinner?

I've got a chicken curry in my SC, and the sauce is a little 'harsh' tasting. I've got some double cream, portioned and whipped in the freezer, can I drop a portion straight in without defrosting??

My first choice for a curry though,would be yogurt.
