Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place couldn't find where else to ask.
I have just received a Tax form to complete for the year 2005-2006 from Local Compliance. No cover letter or anything, just the forms. No date for return? So when am I supposed to send it back by?
I'm just wondering why I have been sent this. I started Self Employment in 2006-2007. Nothing I can think of that happened back in 2005-2006 but I'm worried in case there is something I earned that I cant remember.

Did you complete your self-assessment form for 2005/06 at the time?
I thought that local compliance was for large businesses with complicated affairs - does this apply to you?
I would phone them to ask what is going on.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

If there are no other circumstances where you might be at fault then you will always have three months to complete the return. That is, three months from the date of issue. If it’s not important to you, don’t consume it0
