Didn't quite make it to the gym due to work commitments but I have gutted my car inside and out and have my gym bag packed in the boot. I intend to go after work tomorrow no matter how late it is. I have a rough idea of a workout that I want to do but tomorrow I plan to take it easy and just find my feet with it. Its a start I guess.
I am still planning to stop smoking. The situation at the moment is I have six fags left and even though I will smoke these tomorrow I have no intention whatsoever of buying anymore.......... ever!!
I have started this self help technique which is about letting go in the moment of emotions like anger and apathy etc. I know this might sound a bit mad but I'm giving it a go anyway. There are 13 cd's and a book and so far I have listened to four of the cd's. I am making slow progress as I am a bit sceptical but I promised myself I would give it a proper shot so I'm seeing it through to the end.
Still managed to stay off the drink which I am really pleased with. If I am to make my debt free targets then I must not waver from this.
I am really looking forward to paying off my Aqua debt next month in one fell swoop. Its good to have milestones along the way to keep yourself motivated.
Up early tomorrow as per usual so best get some sleep.

Lists usually help so we will see how this goes. I plan to do all of this before Friday.
1: Get gym routine planned
2: Get home routine planned
3: Stop smoking
4: Finalise meal plan
5: [STRIKE]Start weight record[/STRIKE] Done 29/6 :T
6: Finish library book and return it
7: Organise receipts
8: Set up Hotmail for comps
9: read up on ebay selling
Still managed to remain of the booze which is fantastic but I am really letting myself down with the smoking. Hopefully I make a breakthrough this week.
Mini-Rant: Hate having to buy Gilette razor heads.... £18.54 for eight!!!! The cheaper ones just cut me up :mad:Debt @ Worst (Aug 08) = £14,781.96

Hello and welcome to the boards! And very well done for cutting out the boozing. :T
I am a qualified stop smoking advisor and personal trainer ... with smoking it's all about changing your habits, your routine and making it easier not to smoke than to smoke. So if you are buying cigarettes after work, don't take any money/ cards to work and walk or drive a different way home. If you always smoke sat in the same chair right after your dinner, wash up first then sit in a different chair with a bunch of grapes.
Mr. Fire Fox and I both have old Gillette razors as the blades are much cheaper than the newer models. Otherwise you will find them cheaper online (eBay or Amazon!) or there was a £5 off a £30 spend in Boots voucher in the News of the World today.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -

I didn't quite get through my list last week but I am quite confident I will manage this one.
I WILL have all of these struck through come 12th July
1 Sort receipts
2 Sort home work out routine
3 Create meal plan
4 Set up Hotmail accout for comps
5 Read up on comping tips
6 Go to the gym 4 times
7 Have 4 NSD's
I managed to get to the gym yesterday. I will be going tomorrow, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. I feel like a fish out of water at the moment but realise I will only get more confident the more that I go.
Still off the booze :T ( almost 4 weeks now) I am getting so fed up up with the cigs that its got to happen very soon with them too.

Just paid my Aqua card off in one fell swoop £936.55!!! Feels great to get rid of such a high interest card (35.99%)
My next target is to bring my Barclaycard down enough to free up some space to b.t. my Halifax balance @ 0% in September if they will let me.
Lost almost a stone since I stopped drinking just over a month ago. My aim is to get down another stone to 13 and a half and then try to tone up (complete amatuer).
The smoking has really got a hold on me but it realy is only a matter of time. The desire is there.Debt @ Worst (Aug 08) = £14,781.96

Yay Odie - 1 debt down :T:T:T
Away and have a can of Barr Bru to celebrate
And well done on the weight loss - scary to think how much in the way of calories alcohol has.
Keep it up

The key element to my weight loss is not drinking. Here are some other 'baddies' that I will cut out as of now:
1) Soft Drinks i.e. Coke (seems to be replacing the beer)
2) Crisps (serious vice!)
3) Chocolate and Biscuits (this should actually be easy)
4) Take-Aways and another serious vice... Pizza
5) Eating after 9pm
My diet at the moment consists of:
Breakfast - Porridge or Cereal or Toast
Lunch - 2 Sandwiches (usually spinach, tomato and/or turkey/tuna
Dinner - Whatever Mum makes meusually on a health scale of 6.5/10
I normally have fruit and nuts (not the chocolate version) through out the day.
The Vices mentioned at the top are scattered in throughout the week but I am defo cutting them out, which should save me quite a bit a cash to help with my DFWness :T
Decided to only post re: the smoking when I am past DAY 3 so watch this space :cool:Debt @ Worst (Aug 08) = £14,781.96

As you can see from my sig, I am sub 13k for the first time in a long time. Next month the debt clearing won't be as significant but if things go to plan it will substancial in September when instead of balance transferring my Halifax I may be able to clear in one go.
I am in my 8th week of not drinking booze and the weight is falling off me. I reckon I have lost 18lbs. This is partly because as well as drinking to excess I would eat alot of crap too and this is no longer the case.
Going to the gym tomorrow to start toning up and building some muscle otherwise I will become a beanpole..... 6' 3".
I did the Quidco/PayDayUK cashback thing and am keeping my fingers crossed that it all goes to plan. Nothing is showing on my earnings at all at the moment but I think that because PayDay Uk were 'closed' when I did it so hoping that it will progress tomorrow. That £40 would be a great boost.

Well done on everything - OMG 18lbs in 8 weeks - how good is that. Not drinking sounds so healthy I might start once I've tidied up the fridge of wine
Keep it up - and enjoy the gym (although it is a sweary word in our house)
