1 Make an overpayment on my mortgage to reduce the term.
2 To remain strong and get nothing on long term credit.

To have no debt except my mortgage
To have some savings, however small they are
To have had enough cash to redecorate our bedroom
To still have a credit card, but use it to get cashback and pay off every month.
