I've cleared another card!

I managed to write a cheque today to clear my Sainsbury's credit card! :j
Clever moneysavers will say I have gone the wrong way about this as I have paid it off with my overdraft,
but I do have a theory behind this.Out of my own personal spending money I now have NO credit cards to pay off, so my theory is that I will want to get the overdraft down as quickly as possible now,as it is my money and my bank account, rather than another companies!
I hope someone sees what I'm getting at......
The virgin joint credit card will hopefully be going down by a couple of hundred as soon as we get paid on Thursday. It feels so good to be able to write those cheques out.I know how fortunate I am in that we are able to pay this off, although it will have been 2 years of being careful by the time we finally get there.
I hope the credit card will be gone by June and the overdraft by the end of the year!
