    Hi Dotty

Don't worry your doing well :T you can't do it all at once. Its been 6 months since my LB moment and i'm still changing utilities etc to make further savings

It is a bit of a emotional roller coaster paying off debts. I think everyone here would say they have good and bad days, its keeping your focus on your goal and for me thats where mse helps.

Hows ebay going? Its amazing isn't it how much you can raise from stuff just cluttering the place up. I'm trying to motivate myself for a big splurge.

    Hiya Zippy

Thanks for keeping my pecker up so to speak!!!

I do realise that things arent going to happen overnight but your right - i have made a start and am already feeling more focused, about personal and business, i suppose my real task is to get organised and get my priorities right. Im stopping trying to please everyone, i.e. buying the kids everything they want - cause i just cant afford to do it!!

E-bays been ok over the past couple of months - but it can be time consuming listing stuff all the time, its my afternoon off tomorrow, got my cleaning job in the morning but when i get home im having another root around for stuff to sell - even if i use the cash to pay off my arrears and dont save anything towards CC etc then at least i will catch up - im really determined to do this - byeeeeee

    DottyAnne,

Is there no chance you could take on a bit of extra work. I know that there is your business to work on, but any extra hours could be really useful.

Im sending you a pm with an idea I had for you when I was out today xx
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

    Thanx Lynz

Any suggestions would be great!! I had an idea - as my other cleaning job is for an elderly lady, i thought about advertising in her weekly over 60's club for more cleaning work. Some days its not necessary to be at work in our business, so if i could devote say 2 whole days (instead of half of one ) to cleaning jobs then im sure id catch up in no time.

Apart from standing on a street corner i dunno what else to do?? :rotfl:

Ok so, an update on the returned DD's - ne was my mortgage - £775 and the other and Egg Loan £361.80, i thing that they will try to claim them from by account again shortly and have made a lot of headway - i have nearly all the mortgage money and then need to work on the Egg Loan..........but i also need to be putting money in my account for the DDs at the end of the month.......ive worked out a budget and am sticking to it but most importantly ive really changed the way i think about and handle money - i think it took me getting so low and depressed about money for me to gain the proper respect for it and one thing i do know is that once i have paid all my debts off in full (dunno when??) then i'm NEVER gonna feel like this again - the feeling of not being in control and constant worry is the worst thing ive ever encountered in my life and ive had one divorce, 3 kids, 4 step kids so im no stranger to worry - but nothing topped this! until of course i started to get my finger out and do something about it....there - i know ive waffled on abit but im keeping myself motivated!!!!

Keep focussed on what you can change. Don't dwell on the past. You have made brilliant progress since last week.
