If my DD plans a low key inexpensive wedding I will be very happy, it's not about what you spend it's about the two people involved. Enjoy your day!

You've done absolutely the right thing.

We had a tiny wedding 38 years ago. All we wanted was to be legally married. We were not interested in expensive folderols.

    Congratulations!

Congratulations, I'm so glad your having the day you want and not what your mum wants. If she is that bothered why doesn't she get married or renew her wedding vows if she wants the big do!
