Butcher's chinese flavouring

We did have a butcher that would do chinese flavoured pork etc and the seasoning was lovely ( although I hate to think what was in it!) now shut down and can't find another butcher locally that does it.
Recently bought some reduced Dalepak chinese rib steaks from Asda ( again probably rubbish, but they where cheap and we had to try them) the meat was not 'meat' and I won't be getting them again, but the spices were just the same as the butchers.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of the spices or what they are?

The flavouring could be five spice powder, this is used a lot in chinese dishes and is widely available in supermarkets in the herbs and spices section.0

I have bought it in those scoop and weigh shops. We dont have one near us so I buy it when I go to Hunstanton. The is a nice little shop there on the High St but I have bought it in other similar shops.
Our local butcher used to sell it but he has closed down.0 -
