How should I check 'cashback'?

I have number of cashbacks 'maturing' and whilst most are small beer, I do have the £100 Sky + HD cashback pending!
Is there any advice on how to ensure these will happen as there seems precious little evidence of the cashback after the related deal is done!
Even after clicking through the cashback offer to the retailer there seems to be nothing to show that a cashback is then due. Not even an email confirmation is sent to give me some confidence that everything is in place. Two of the deals I have entered are already due and yet the cashback site, in each, case says there is nothing due to me! As these are only a few pounds each I am not to worried, but the £30 and £100 cashbacks that are still due I will be very annoyed to lose!
Any advice would be well received.
Thanks
Nigel

Some cashback sites (Quidco,CashBackKings and maybe a few others) have "estimated" validation date. This can be a bit annoying as some then go to "extended" which means payment is delayed, but it is a good guide. I find Quidco are worst for extending payment dates, and in my personal opinion CashBackKings seem to be best.
Have you read ther cashback section here

The cashback checker is currently unpredictable, I tend to have all my cashback accounts open on different tabs and check each one for best cashback, ALSO terms and conditions of cashback for the retailer can be different for each site.
ALWAYS submit a claim/ticket if cashback does not show in your account after the recommended time and keep notes of times/dates and any account references.
Hope this helps0 -
BH,
Thanks for that.
I heed your suggestions but gather from what you say that there is nothing positive about going through the cashback process.
In my particular case, the £100 due from Sky + HD, I have no evidence save the printout of the offer page. But nothing that says the refund is due to me and no proof that I clicked through the offer to get to the Sky order page. It seems very much in their interest to deny I ever used their site. Also there must be a great opportunity for people to falsely claim they did!
Do you have any experience of fighting a valid claim?
Thanks again

Which cashback site are you going through, it should track as long as your browser allows cookies. Cashback sites allow manual claims as long as you have used their link to then get offer.0

The Sky one is thru' Cashback Kings and two others (small ones) are with Topcashback and the £30 is thru' Moneysupermarket.
l know I have had problems with cookies to access some other sites, but you think regardless the cashback sites should have recorded me passing thru' their site to get to the retailer and order.
The whole business, of just clicking on one page before ordering, to get money off (upto £100!) seems quite strange. Afterall if I was dealing with a £100 promise from a bank (money in or money out) I would expect it to be acknowledged and record somewhere quite obviously.
In this larger case the £100 back was a definate 'decider' in my order. So to lose it would be quite a knock.
Am I looking on this in the wrong way? That it is beholding on the retailer (e.g., Sky) to see that I linked from a cashback site?
Sorry to be so naive!

The cashback sites offer this cashback normally as agents for the retailers and they get a cut of the proceeds and therefore the cashback is dependent on the linked clickthrough.
That is why I like CBK as you get a screen telling you it is tracking and you then click through from there.
Anyway....
Right then, this is how to see if your cashback has tracked on CBK, remember you can only process a claim after 14 days.
1/ click on "My Account" top left
2/ click on "Mr Rewards" subsection "statement", if it shows on there it has tracked, there should also be an "award Date", this is only a guide it can sometimes take more than this.
3/ if it is not there go back to "My Account"
4/ click on the "Assistance, subsection "missing cashback"
5/ this should be headed up "My Claims" , click on "click here to submit a new claim"
6/enter " estimated click date" and then dropdown menu "merchant" and select the missing cashback ffrom there. If it isn't there, then unfortunately you have possibly not done the transaction from the clickthrough or some other error has occurred.
7/ there may be other details requested that you can obtain from the site you want the cashback friom.
I have had good experience from CashBackKings and prefer them to Quidco. Unfortunately as they say "do not depend on cashback, it can sometimes go wrong"
Hope this helps

BH,
Thanks for that. The first section said I hadn't made any claims. BUT the second section did list one (infact two hits) and the times it gave back were very close to the order time, not only the date!
So that gives me confidence. Aswell as the merchant dropdown only offered Sky!
In fact even on the other cashback site I am waiting on, the selection only included the two merchants I had ordered from with cashback.
So thanks to your help I feel more confident that my cashback will come thru', esp' the £100!
Thanks again for your help

Cough Cough
Ther is a thanks button or would you prefer my bank details
P.S. Welcome to MSE0 -
for future reference, it's best to clear all your cookies before clicking through a cashback site. this is because if you have cookies coming from various sites it may not be clear which site is responsible for you purchasing the item.
I imagine also that CBK will also operate a similar process whereby you can bring any transactions that do not track to their attention and they will look into it on your behalf.
