Remember to confirm what you were doing when not working too - ie claiming jobseekers allowance or not earning at all, they will only come back to you and ask otherwise.

Do I sent it signed for?
Should I make a copy of the P60 for myself?

I would always make a copy of everything you send off. Signed for probably not a bad idea, for the little extra it costs, especially if you don't want them to come back with the standard line, "we never got that!"

    Nice one ta.
  • Hope you don't mind me tidying it up a bit, but there were a couple of spelling mistakes/typos that wouldn't have been picked up by a spell checker (I'm so cheeky I know :o).

Signed for is a waste of money because they dont actually sign for anything. HMRC also take the view that signed for does not prove what was in the letter. Just keep copies of everything.
