A Few Q's, got my date......

Ok, been reading for a while and getting gen'd up. Have got my date for me and the mrs on the 21st May.
Basically, i believe we were mis-sold our IVA but that's another story! (667pm!)
we get paid 13 times a year and can afford to do this in May as that's our double pay month, will the OR expect any money from that extra pay to be paid to him?
Also, we have arranged for our pay to go into our daughters (she's 2) account for 1 month, as the time from the 21st to pay day is very short and i don't want our money to be left in limbo.
Can the OR gain access to this as we are named as trustees on the account?
Also, how long after the BR order is made can we apply for the BI to be bought back, given the fact that house prices seem to be on the move again? I believe we are very close to neg equity, and given the estate agent fees, legal fees, and mortgage fees that now is the time to do this.
Also, i have sky hd which i am contracted to for another 11 months, does this just finish? I can't imagine they'll let me keep it. Do i have to get rid, or just find the money for it, i have my broadband, phone and everything with them!
I really don't have a clue what is a reasonable amount to be putting down for our bills, there are 2 adults and a 2 year old, along with 1 dog and cat.
Things is, our take home pay is around £2500 a month, so could do with 'losing' quite a bit of it (I do know i had the money in the first place before anyone starts on me!) I also realise i'm gonna get hit quite hard with the monthly payments. Will they also take things like union fees into account? I work in an industry where it's severely frowned upon if your outside the union? How's about pension?
I'm confused, but think i know what's going on! These are debts from over 15 years ago and should have got this sorted before now, but.....

I can answer the bit about the BI. I got a letter 3 months after my official BR date re the BI. A simple form with checkboxes. If any of your debt is with Sky you would have to add it and the contract would be ended. If you have no debt with Sky i'm not sure...(sorry)
Someone will be along to elaborate further i'm sure. They're all very knowledgable!0 -
funny thing is, that since i have had a decent job, all my household bills have been paid on time and in full.
So no debt with sky, energy or mortgage companies. Even the bank sent me a letter to increase my overdraft to 2k yesterday. If only they know whats gonna happen on the 21st! (oh, wait, they do! I saw the bank manager and asked him if we could keep the account, he put a note on our file of our intentions, but said the account would get frozen anyway! Post your income and expenditure (SOA) someone will be along soon with a link to this and you can put what you think and the experts on here will advise if its ok or needs tweeking.

MY RCN (union) and NMC (professional Body) were allowed but I think they were from surplus income.

PS Be careful with abbey. I didn't owe them anything and it took them over a month to close account although it was restricted after a week and they still owe me £128 that was incorrectly paid in by my employer despite closing the account 2 weeks ago. The branch staff made it clear 4 times in front of a whole room full of customers that I was BR too!0 -
you can keep the sky even if you was bankrupt and you applied for sky you would still get as they dont credit check you, as for bills etc be honest but food should be tighter than normal, if you owe no money to abbey they should not freeze the account, ask then to convert it to a basic account, condition of bankruptcy is to have no credit available so cancel the overdraft,Aqua card - £250 Limit up to date, Jd Williams £150 limit up to date, Argos store card £400 limit up to date, Next £300 limit up to date.:beer:0

Why? It should be realistic!0 -

I'd be a bit upset if they do touch my little ones money, i've made a point of putting every penny she's ever been given into the account and never making a withdrawal! It's only £300 but even so.
I'll get the income and expenditure done tomorrow, but heads battered thinking about it all! I was thinking of putting £400 pm done for food, equating to £100 p/w, would that sound unreasonable? I bet we do spend something close to that, with all the bits and bobs!

Gosh no, sorry! I didn't click quote, I was laughing at the comment made about you having to starve - which of course is a joke! I hope.0
