Is everyone on this forum crazy ,sometimes flirtatious, mostly antagonistic, always controversial, argumentative, often super intelligent and nearly always angry.

Are you really one person with a split personality?

I want to join in but frightened you might become addictive.......

I will argue and be friendly with some one five seconds later as long as it is on topic and not personal.

Debate is great it gets you to express your points and learn.

Unfortunately a few on here never want to debate, but mainly the best posters I think have their idea about things but are always prepared to see things form a different view.

Tricky, typing whilst avoiding digging scissors into yourself or tearing that thin tissue paper they use for patterns.

BTW, sewing was never my strong point. I made one dress at school which I wore on a visit to 10 Downing Street. Took so long, I was left out of the end of term peppermint cream cookery treat. :(

We use cardboard for factory patterns and I am naughty as I cut to include seam allowance (tho' nowadays it's only 4mm).

The body blocks I make from scratch as bodies have changed over the years plus I have Stockman 1950's fit stand (dummy) plus a modern KL Stand size 12 (most Chinese imports are fitted to her from sample size 10) but neither take into account the fleshy parts and how they affect fit.

I also find the proportions are not quite right nowadays....neck to waist seems to be longer on Ms Average.

Basically, you take flat shapes, put curves in so they form 3D shapes around the body.

OK... I am currently doing body fascist stuff and a good quality stretch helps....but that's just for now.

Perhaps the anger will turn into some other product line in the future.;)

    Oh for the figures!

FC, did you make them to fit them, or do they just fit right?
    They fit just right ;)

I'm just a boring housewife (without being a wife anymore) who is also ever so slightly mad and weird.

    I fit in well here......
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
