One wonders why they would enter a comp for a ski holiday if they didn't ski ?

Glad you enjoyed your trip. Why would non-skiers enter a comp to win a skiing holiday??

Apparently, their daughter won the trip but couldn't go, and since the prize was transferable she sent her whining parents. The complained to the chalet hosts, who then called the rep in. The rep walked in and they said "You should know, we have our own business and are threatening to sue you". The rep said "Ok, this is over my head" and called in the Crystal manager for the resort. The manager put the couple on a plane home. Too bad their week's lift passes went to waste - they're expensive!!!

OMG, that's ridiculous! I won a skiing holiday having never skiied before, my boyfriend and I were so excited to actually get to try something new that we forked out for some lessons (we got free passes) and made the most of it. We were complete beginners but we enjoyed it so much! Makes me wonder why other people can't just make the most of something they've been given on a plate! Even if they couldn't afford to pay for lessons, at least don't complain about what they had been given!

Anyway, glad you had a good time, aside from the whiners!
