Ikea 'Voucher' Rip-Off

Recently one of the Sunday newspapers carried Ikea 'vouchers' offering a discount to be deducted at the till on selected ranges from their kitchens.

After checking prices out on the web we drove to Ikea to make our order - The prices on the order sheet that you have to take to the till were as they had appeared on the website but when the total was tallied we were told that the 25% off the Bravad range had "already been discounted" - So basically Ikea is showing 25% off the range on their website (without highlighting the fact) and luring people to the shop with pointless vouchers which they told me were just for their marketing - "to capture the uptake". So absolutely pointless to the customer, despite stating on the voucher that "the discount will be removed at the till" which is clearly a lie as the discount has already been removed according to them. I am fairly sure that the wording on the voucher is misleading - I'm not sure where you would stand legally with this, but is extremely annoying to have planned, budgeted, acquired transport, travelled to the store to find that you are paying hundreds over the expected cost based on deceptive marketing.

I would contact the CAB over this. Do you still have the voucher?

No longer have the voucher, as they took it for marketing purposes - It also states on the voucher that it is the property of Ikea, so I couldn't very well demand it back!
