Hi everybody!!
i hope someone may be able to help me out with this, i am curreently £8500 in debt (two credit cards and a personal loan). the interest free period on my credit cards is sue to expire soon and i won't be able to afford the minimum payments so i am thinking of going on a DMP. Me and my girlfriend are thinking of moving to manchester in the summer, where my office is relocating to. i was wondering if being on a DMP makes it harder for you to be able to rent a flat? i don't have a clue whether any credit checks are made or anything so am a bit confused.
If anybody has experienced this and can offer any advice, i would be very grateful!!

it shouldn't be a problem I moved in August 2008 and had a credit check or so they say, I have no problems, this was the second time I went through an agent.0

It shouldn't be a problem if you've never missed any rent payments at your current place. I've never had a credit check carried out by a landlord though."You are entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts" - Arthur Schlesinger
