We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

In theory you should check what kind of foot you have first. You need to take your shoes and socks off and put your foot in water and then put your wet foot on a piece of paper and see what kind of outline you leave on the paper. This will tell you what kind of foot you have.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

The only trainers I can wear are Adidas, most of the others have stupid built up insteps, I hate those.

I'm the same Linda - I'm flat footed so often have to cut the insteps out of trainers. My last pair were £8 and a very cool shade of fuschia pink but probably absolutely useless as 'serious' trainers at that price! I have to buy very thin soled shoes because of my left foot dropping slightly - anything with any thickness (like those Wiggle ones) and my foot 'scuffs' and I go over on my ankle.

I've just been looking at the same brand on Amazon.....some pretty grey and pink ones. I'm guessing I need to look at more than colour, yes
