Savoury bake

Hi - ideas needed please.
We are holding a charity bake at work and I have been asked to bake something savoury. I don't know what to bake though. I did cheese scones last time so don't want to do them again.
It has to be from cheap ingredients (as I am skint) and easy to transport to work.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you

Before I went vegan I used to make Savoury Oat Slices. The only way I can describe is like a vegetarian meatloaf or a savoury flapjack. Either way its delicious and very more-ish.
1 x onion (chopped)
2 x celery sticks (chopped small)
1 x carrot (grated)
6oz/180g porridge oats
1/4tsp salt
2 tsp dried mixed herbs
3oz/90g cheese (grated)
2 eggs (beaten)
Preheat oven to 190C/Gas 5
Fry onion and celery in a little oil for 5 mins or so until softened.
Add carrots and cook gently for a few more minutes. Then allow to cool slightly.
In a mixing bowl combine the oats, salt, herbs and cheese. Add the veg mix and eggs (you cool the veg mix slightly so the eggs don't start cooking as they hit them or you get bits of scrambled egg!) and stir well.
Spread into a tray (like a flapjack) or a loaftin (meatloaf).
Bake for 25-30 minutes until nice and golden.
Cut into slices. Try not to eat it all immediately.

ooh, my friend made some really tasty things at new year - aparently she rolled out ready made puff pastry, spread it with pesto, a bit of crumbled feta cheese and a sprinkle of finely chopped chillies, then rolled it up like a swiss roll and cut it into slices and baked them - they looked a bit like cinnamon swirls but smaller (only a couple of inches across) - they were delish!
She just made it up, and it was very nice - I think you could use just pesto, or red pesto and add cheese, garlic, chilli or whatever you fancy!0 -
