Just a little bit of advice, thieves are no longer looking for sat navs on windows to indicate someone who has one, they are looking at the windows themselves.

when you take your sat nav off, it leaves a little white ring where the sucker was, so ALWAYS wipe this area, and more around it so that if you look at the car from the outside you can see no evidence that there ever was a sat nav there. (dont leave one little clean spot on the windscreen).

failing that, keep it in the house until you need it.
