I echo all the sympathy and good sentiments already said. It's awful when something like this happens, but so common, I'm sure most of us have experienced it (perhaps more than once) before, but I know that doesn't really make things better.

P&C, I am sorry to hear that and I hope something can be done. You're doing so well NSD wise, so 90p is well deserved! Keep going and keep positive. SOmetimes things like this happen and you could waste a lot of time with 'what ifs' etc, but it's better to move on, which I'm sure you'll do! Take care, QBx

sorry to hear about the break in, but maybe all the glass to clean up would have been worse. Hope that the insurance sort if for you very quickly.

Had the same done myself at 9.45 Am last sunday although they broken the drivers window & stole my walking stick & a few old petrol receipts (no card details on always pay cash!) never seen so much glass in my life.....and the mad thing?? they left my sat nav....must have felt sorry for me (its an old crappy one)

as everyone said dont let the ******** get you down not worth it!

Many years ago some theiving scum broke the lock on my old rover to steal..... the clutch cable.

To be honest i wouldn't bother with insurance. door left unlocked plus excess means you will get little if any money out of them.

Think we can close this thread now - I'm feeling much much better.

Americano was delicious, and soon, I'll be off to heat up my homemade soup.

I'm not going to bother with the insurance, it'll affect my premiums and since I claimed last year for the same thing i'm sure it'll appear dodge.

Found a Satnav at www.ebuyer.com for less than £50 so that's good.

just wanted to say how great your attitude to life is. If that was my husband, ( similar happened to us 3 years ago ) he called everyone and everything all the names under the sun and names you wouldn't like to hear.
