1st Birthday Cake

Options
My niece is having her 1st birthday soon and I've been roped in to getting ideas for her cake.

Me and her mum are not averse to having a go at making something a bit special.

Things Emily likes are

Fairies
Princesses
Ballerinas

Ha ha, the stereotypical ones then!!!

Any ideas for recipes (tried and tested or otherwise) and decorating ideas would be really appreciated

    Hi

Lovely cake. I would love to make them for my girls. Think you have used ice cream cones, what are the cylindrical poles made of please?

Not sure what the OP has used but when making that cake before I used empty toilet rolls and kitchen rolls and covered them in sugarpaste so the turrets are not edible. Hope this helps x
  • Thanks everyone!!!
