Got a voucher from the advantage card machine today offering a half price eye test at boots opticians (was £18, now £9) valid till 28/02/06.
Then happened to be passing boots optician when i spied another voucher for 900 advantage points with an eye test valid till 30/06/06.
There doesnt seem to be anything in terms/conditions saying they cant be used together.
900 points = £9!!!!!!!! :T

So that's how I got it today!
I went for an eye test today and the nice SA said "that will be £18 please" and I said "oh, hang on, there's a voucher in the advantage machine isn't there?" and he said "well you can either do that or I'll put 900 points on your card".
I pondered this and decided on half price voucher but then he winked at me and said he'd give me the 900 points too so it was free! In fact they paid me to have an eye test because I can claim back the cost!0 -

Thanks. I need my eyes tested this month and Boots is were I usually go. Will sort out booking an appointment. I'm sure I'll need glasses this time ... so any good offers on glasses will be appreciated.0

Got my eyes tested today at Boots with the half price eye voucher but didn't get 900 points as well! Oh well you can't win them all. I was happy with the half price offer.0

I recently had an eye test at Boots (FOC as my father had glaucoma). I needed varifocals and the ones I chose had designer frames and would have cost £400.
In true moneysaving style I shopped around and got two pairs of designer frames with premium varifocal lenses for just £169 at good ole Specsavers.
Remember you don't have to actually buy the specs at Boots even if you have the eye test there.Do not allow the risk of failure to stop you trying!0
