I've having a hard time trying to get the money together to go bankrupt. I've been advised to talk to the citizens advice as sometimes there's away to getting funding or something. The problem I've got is work won't let me have time off and the only time ca are in my area is monday, tuesday and thursday, 10 til 12.
Any ideas anyone ?

Are you are making payments on debts that will be included in the bankruptcy?
Would stopping making payments realise enough cash? Have you spoken to one of the free debt agencies to find out the best way to deal with things. Bankruptcy may not be your best or only option.
there is a banner along the top of this board which will give you more advice if you need it.

Cab has online advice, but only of the standard FAQs type I think. You can click the button on the banner above then "Get Advice" on the strip on the left. Otherwise does your local bureau offer telephone advice. When I worked for them (ages ago) a good way was for people to write in with full details and a phone no so they could be contacted by phone. These days I wonder if they'd email you. If you rang the HQ in London they could perhaps suggest the best way of contacting them.CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420

I thought most CABs gave advice by phone these days. You just need to know of any local charities that could help. The most common sources of help where i live are the Royal british legion (ex-forces) and EDF (they own various energy companies but you've got to be getting gas/electricity from them). I don't supose you're in a Trade Union?0
