IVA's and Student Loan Payments

Hello,
I entered into an IVA last July and included in it were all my debts, including my student loan. However the Student Loan Company have still been taking amounts directly out of my pay. The accountant who helped us sort out our IVA has said that I should contact them and ask them to stop taking the payments and also ask them to repay any amounts they have taken since the IVA was agreed. Has anyone else had experience of doing this? If so how did you go about it?
