Buying Dvd's Online

I'm new round here so I hope this is the right place for this...

I'm a bit of a film fanatic and some time back Martin's email letter mentioned https://www.find-dvd.co.uk as a good search engine for buying dvd's online. It's not just good (in my opinion) it's consistently the best, bar none. During xmas I saved nearly £60 on the cost of the dvd's I bought for the family (that I would have bought anyway!) and most were far less than the price of major stores and other online retailers.

I've used all the major dvd search engines now, but if you're buying online you really need to be using this one as a bench mark. Cheers! :money:
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

http://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk , this is brilliant if you have a multi region dvd player as it lists all of the dvd'd in different regions from different countries and so you can pick internationally what the best price is. This way you can also make the most of Special Editions only available in different countries and stuff that isn't available in this country (I purchased "Due South" from a Canadian Site and Some Ice Hockey DVD'S from USA, All unavailable or extremely expensive here!!)

I've never really looked at Find DVD before, but just had a little browse. I looked for The Rocky Anthology, which I've been considering buying with £25 I got for a xmas present. Only thing is, at Amazon etc it has been well over that. Look here though  I may just get that, what a bargain! Thanks for bringing Find DVD to my attention again.

It is also worth looking at amazon as their "New and Used" price for CDs and DVDs is extremely good. Most items I have bought are brand new, very cheap and delivered within a day or to. You're buying off private sellers but, for me, it seems cheaper and more reliable / less stressful then ebay. Though remember that P+P is added to the price you see (normally about £2).

  • Hi

thanks - this sites not bad but when I did a comparison of van helsing 2 disc spec. ed. it was 4.69 on find-dvd and 5.99 on cdanddvdbargains - this is what I mean when I say it consistently finds the lowest price. Cheers
