Don't use Bennetts Online!

Ordered Sony kdl32v4000 with this company on 31st - clearly showing as in stock. They've taken my money, but have told me today the tv is out of stock!! Appalling customer service too! Yes, I got a very cheap deal, but think I'm paying for it now! Anyone else had similar experience??

Ask for a refund then, it's not like they are going to run away with your cash.

This time of year it is quite common for websites to show items as in stock when in fact they may have just sold the last one and the quantity hasn't updated yet, when sites are dealing with as many as 1000 transactions a minute during the sales it is understandable that the occasional !!!! up can occur.

I have used Bennetts on a few occasions and never really had any problems, and the one time that I did have a problem I found their customer service to be excellent and they dealt with the problem instantly and efficiently.

what a concidence, a poster in this thread last night said how he had purchased the same tv form the same company( i have never heard of them until then), did you get it for £284 as well, as i said to him in his thread, i had a look at some reviews for this site, and there where some bad ones, one of them exactly same situation as youself, purchased something that was advertised in stock, only to find they take money when they never had any stock, took him ages to sort it out, and this was way before xmas, so it looks like this company does this quite often, although the poster in the thread i hae mentioned, has said he has brought things of them before with no problems, i just wonder if what he brought was as expensive as a tv :rolleyes:, Dave

I ordered one of these TVs from Bennetts and have also been told its gonna be a while .....but I'm confused by the comments above coz when I ordered it the site said it was a model that was "coming soon", rather than in stock. I took this to mean that I would have to wait a while anyway!

As has been mentioned just ask for a refund.Some of the savings on the tvs are minute anyway.Add the extra warranty and they not so cheap.
