Hi Sea,
I phrased that bit wrong really. The sleeping arrangements for the holiday would be more of an indicator as to how things are going, they won't determine how the relationship will then go, if that makes sense...:rolleyes:0 -
None of my business either but ...The past three weeks have reminded me though why their mum and I split up, she is a nightmare to live with. Shan't go into it here but I'm thankful that there is 0% chance of getting back with her. The whole sorry story of what happened before is on here somewhere and now and again I revisit it to remind myself how bad things were. Not in case I think about getting back with her, more a case of remembering why I get up in the mornings, why I go to work and why I'm here at all.
At the end of the day, she is just a very mixed up woman who can't stay alone in life, has to have a partner, I'm afraid. I used to be like that but now, I'm more happy with my own company.Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000
Mortgage Overpayments Pot £15870 -
Please don't say it's none of your business, BB, of course it is. If I felt other people were making mistakes or going the wrong way, I'd be quick enough to point it out. Yours is one of the opinions I respect anyway so I'd always listen to what you said...:T
I have a good idea about what's right for me. I also have a good idea of how I feel inside. Unfortunately, the two things are poles apart...:rolleyes:0 -
Not much spent today. Coughed up a fiver for a Maccy D's tonight plus another £1.53 for a bottle of de-icer and a pound for the quiz. We won nowt tonight but it cost nowt in drinks too so still a cheap night out.
Have an early start in the morning so off to bed soon. Still cold here, roads are icy and loads of snow still around so tomorrow might be best spent paying bills and getting paperwork sorted.0 -
Electric £10.00 and shopping £2.35.
Also paid the balance on my cheapie break in Cornwall (£53.76), my Virgin bill (£54.09) and my football season ticket (£46.58).0 -
Had a good day today to be honest.
Spent this morning clearing a lot of paperwork stuff and sent out nearly fifty emails to letting agents requesting that I go on to their books. Was brutally honest about my finances (ex bankrupt, self-employed and receiving housing benefit) and eleven of them so far have called or emailed back. I also put an ad on gumtree in the "Houses Wanted" section and received three emails from there too.
This afternoon went down to Dorset to pick DD1up from school. Went home, had a few games of Rock Band with her and DS1 ( he's got the flu big time ) then on down to her school for parents evening and her options meeting. All well, she has her mums looks and my intelligence so all is well there...:D
Got back about half an hour ago. Treated everyone to tea tonight as a mini-celebration (£7.50), did some shopping earlier (£8.94) and put £25.00 of petrol in the car.
Tomorrow sees the papers arrive, my friend is borrowing my car for a couple of hours, the morning and evening post runs to do plus collecting the boys from school and dropping them home at eight. No skittles but Yeovil have six home games withn thirty-eight days coming up so a lot of articles to write...:eek:0 -
Got a fair amount done today. Did the morning and evening post runs, delivered a third of the newspapers, picked up the twins from school and also managed to get some of the football articles sorted. As I said yesterday, March is going to be a hell month to get things done. It can be tight sometimes with either two or three games to squeeze into a month but we have six games between 21st February and 31st March. Just going to take things steady and get all my contributions done as soon as possible.
Secured an interview with the owner of one of our opponents coming up, very interesting guy indeed, so looking forward to that one...
Spend today? Not so sure I did spend anything actually though look down there vvvvvvv later on and you might spot the tell-tale edit...:D0 -
Good luck with the articles. Are they published online as well?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hi Sea,
No, I'm afraid not. They're just printed in the programme and as yet there is no online facility to view them though there may well be next year.0 -
Ex-OH wasn't well this morning so I took the boys to school and picked them up at 3.15pm....:j . In between, managed to get another two paper rounds finished leaving two more for tomorrow morning. John, my landlord, came round and said that the house originally planned as my fallback option if I couldn't find anywhere, is now available again. It would be in a less salubrious part of Bristol but wouldn't require a deposit or any agency fees either. Don't know if I want to live there though...

The boys had a Valentine's disco tonight so dropped them home afterwards. Did the weekly shop tonight to save time tomorrow (£32.49) but that included a large jar of coffee (£5), a pair of trainers (£5) and a Valentine's card so no more than usual really. Spent £12.00 on petrol today too.0
