Hi there Sea, you have a good memory....:T . It was almost exactly a year ago when she and the children were staying round here. It was brilliant to have the boys here full time but I need to sort out whether I love her or I just am lonely. I was actually shaking when I was texting her the other night... how daft does that sound?
The writing is just trundling on really. I've done two more articles for this Saturday's programme but haven't really pushed for any more work in other directions. I want to get my finances in some sort of order really before I then go and mess things up again...:D0 -
Martin I know you probably feel depressed looking at your spending list but I think we all do when we see EVERY penny documented lol! You do spend more than me on food though-I feed myself 2 kids and 2 cats, all groceries etc cleaning the lot on around £140 per month so I'm sure you could cut that down very slightly. Had a great day with my youngest today-first time he has been able to play in snow and he was sooooooooooo ecited! No spend day but still great fun, involed a lot of hot soup and hot chocolate-plus both schools closed again tomorrow-yipee! Although my eye is still dilated and photosensetive not so sore so treatment working.
Keep up the good work-you may want to review your acts of desperation however lol!Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0 -

Just remember the first of your SMART MART goals: Sensible decisions. No more "taking the wrong option" when deep down I know it's wrong.
Your gut feeling will tell you if getting back together is the right thing or not. Good luck!

Quite a good day all in all, full of hope for the future if not immediately any help.;)
Had a lie-in this morning as no proper work as it was snowing. I have eighty catalogues to finish off but they can wait a day or two till the snow melts. Prepped two-thirds of the leaflets ( about 500 of them ) then got a good email from my paper distributor who has offered me another 226 papers. This will be an extra £25 a week from a fortnight's time and brings my income from the papers to over £100 a week...:T . Mind you, that's more than 940 papers now, which will take nearly eight hours to deliver...
John, my landlord, came round and offered to defer half of the last month's rent on this property. This will save me initially around £300 though I will have to pay it in time, it'll help me save towards a rental deposit hopefully.
Wrote my third and final article for the programme this afternoon which means I've finished a day early, unheard of for me...still have to proof-read things tomorrow night mind you.
Tonight, all is quiet, all is calm save for the odd message tone as I receive a text from my XOH. Sorted out some paperwork and just chilling at present. Tomorrow will be busier, I hope, and not so lonely either.0 -
Did the morning post run earlier then picked up the boys from their mum's house and took them to school. Her driveway was all iced up and if she'd tried driving off ( it slopes steeply ), she might have slid straight into traffic.
Had a brief chat about our forthcoming holiday. As I usually so, I've managed to get a decent deal through the Sun's £9.50 holiday deal and the boys and I were off to Riviere Sands in Cornwall the week before Easter. Their mum was thinking over coming with us ( just as friends ) anyway as it would be a break for her too but things may well change, particularly regarding the sleeping arrangements:eek: . I'm going to upgrade the caravan anyway so the option is there for a bedswap but we'll see.
Delivered 223 papers this morning, prepped 235 more leaflets, off to pick the boys up at three then home, tea, evening post run, drop the boys home, possibly skittles then proofing the football programme till it's finished.0 -
Pretty much as I said really. Went to skittles tonight, had a half-pint instead of a full pint so cost of evening was £2.30. Add that to £17.00 petrol earlier ( Tesco, 17 clubcard points ) and £5.94 of shopping and that was all I spent.
Snowing here now, forecast is bad so hopefully it will be wrong!

Almost a no-spend day today. Put £7 on my electric key this morning.
Hard work today as had to deliver nearly 500 newspapers this morning, should really have done more yesterday. Thought I was the most unpopular man in Bristol at one point as kids were pelting me with snowballs from all angles this morning... Joined in with a couple of them just to break up the monotony of trudging through the snow...
Tomorrow looks like another no-school day so will probably pick the boys up earlier. Need to go shopping early on so will be having an early night tonight. Nothing developed further in the other situation though I did have a chat on the phone earlier. Texts have been scarce tonight though...

Draining old day today...
Had a major fall of snow last night, more than the other night. Glad that I got the papers done on Thursday but still annoyed that there are still 80 catalogues left to do. Need to get those cleared as soon as the snow goes.
Went shopping in Asda and spent £36.29 as I did a bigger shop than normal. Stuck £15 on the gas and a tenner on the electric so that I can stay in this weekend if needs be. Football training tonight, Yeovil's match tomorrow and the boys match on Sunday has all fallen by the wayside so it'll be a quiet weekend, I'm afraid.
Her ladyship didn't seem in a good mood today and has been hard to talk to today so, risking the chance of some nice late night texts, I'll be heading up the old wooden staircase early tonight.0 -
Very quiet day today. Only opened the front door once and that was to bring in the leaflets delivered this morning for next week's papers.
Had a good chat with ex-OH earlier today about what the future holds. We'll be keeping it low key for now; I think the holiday sleeping arrangements will be the key to it all, depending on where we both sleep will tell you how the "relationship" is going.0 -
That sounds rather a passive approach to making an important decision. We all know what can happen in the heat of the moment, especially after a drink or two.
I think you should both be clear before you go about what you want the sleeping arrangements to be, otherwise you could easily fall into a situation that you may not rationally think is the best.
Sorry to sound so bossy! And it's none of my business. But you did say you want to make sensible decisions/Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620
