Hope everything goes well with our husband's creditor...:rotfl:

I wish I could offload or share him with someone,honestly-he's such a pain and even today I have had grief from him. I am hoping he will quickly meet someone else as until then he will keep irritating me.He's not the sort of guy (like you)that could ever manage or be on his own.

I have had another flare up of uveitis in my left eye-I had it over Christmas and was only disharged from Moorfields in London last week and am going back up there tonight to restart treatment-great way to start the weekend I don't think. Flippin painful it is. So looks like this weekend will be a washout for me-I have to have the pupil dilated for 3 weeks which means I can't see out that eye and can't drive either. Feel like stamping my foot and throwing my toys out the pram at the moment!! It's also the constant stress which causes it to flare up. Oh well stop feeling sorry for myself and get on with it,have a great weekend with your kiddies Martin.
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

Aww Suzi, don't ever feel like you can't unload with me ( oo-err, how pervy does that sound... ). Here, have a dodgy hug...:grouphug:

Some blokes find it easier to share information than others. I've always been like that, unfortunately most women prefer their men to have more of a spine, it seems... . Have a lovely weekend yourself too...:T

Today. Picked the boys up, took them to school then delivered another hundred catalogues. Had lunch then off to pick them up at 3.15pm before giving them tea, taking them to football training then tonight, I had a job booked to Cardiff so we all went over. Bribed them with sweets too, bad dad!!

Today then. Diesel for the van - £7.50, Petrol for the car - £15.00. Sweets - £3.08 and the Severn Bridge toll £5.40.

I'll do a tot-up of January's spending tomorrow and set some targets for February. I've been reasonably happy with January though certain spending habits are still out of hand. February will be a short month and by the end of it, I'll know where I'll soon be living. Better sooner than later, methinks.

    Thanks for reading...

No need for a long post today as I haven't even opened the front door today. I tell a lie, the leaflets for next week's newspaper rounds came so I brought them in but save for those two minutes, the front door's been closed and I've been this side of it...:D

A NSD to end the month with. Might try and post the review and the totals tomorrow to see where I did well and what's gone wrong. Boys have football in the morning for only the third time in nine weeks so will look forward to that as I'll be refereeing the two games.

Having said that I wasn't going out at all, a series of "over-friendly" texts between my ex-OH and myself led to me picking her up and bringing her back here where she spent the night...

If ever a fact needed a  , it's that one. So much so that I'm giving it another one...

She's just popped out for some shopping while I get the kids breakfast. We were careful to cover our tracks so as not to confuse the boys but we'll take it from here and see where things go...

Firstly, I'll clear up yesterday's spending. Went to the quiz last night, bought a round plus my quiz fee coming to £8.95. Bought £4.61 of shopping and coughed up £4.00 for the match fees.

Today's spending consisted of £15.00 of petrol ( Tesco, 15 Clubcard points ) and a tenner on the gas card.

In other news, we came second in the quiz last night so won eight free drinks vouchers for use. ( or should I say     ).

My ex went back yesterday afternoon after football and I dropped the boys stuff over before going to the quiz last night. She texted earlier to ask me if I was okay and we've exchanged texts this afternoon too. We'll have to wait and see what'll happen from now on...

The next post will list my January spending. I'm damned ashamed of some of it but January was always going to be a test run, a benchmark from which the rest of the year could be up against. It makes horrifying reading for someone apparently trying to stop spending but there you go. At least I get 10/10 for my honesty as I could have hidden it.

So where's the next post Mart? I've been waiting for a whole ten minutes!

And the ex-OH...... oo er.... sounds very risky. Is this the twins' mum or another ex OH?

Right here goes. I've rounded stuff up to the nearest pound to make it easier to read and digest...

Fuel - £193 ( all but £34.50 bought from supermarkets using loyalty cards )

Shopping - £179 ( includes all visits to a shop or supermarket)

Bills - £131 ( Virgin, YTFC season ticket and vehicle insurance )

Gas - £92 ( on card and paying off a debt while I'm going )

One-offs - £86 ( Sun cheap holiday, football tickets, bridge toll, book and calendar )

Electric - £53 ( on key and paying off debt as I go )

Quiz / Skittles - £36 ( my two nights out each week. I'm ditching skittles at the end of the season as I'm not enjoying it anyway )

Football - £25 ( this is parking, drinks, programmes etc and varies depending on how many games we play each month. January saw three games, February sees just two but there's four in March )

Lunch / sweets - £24 ( this is solely when I couldn't be bothered to eat what was in the cupboard and went out and bought stuff )

Football training / subs - £15 (I pay for all the twins football activities as my maintenance assessment is very low )

Stamps and stationery - £9 ( mainly business stuff and creditors letters )

Disappointing reading is that. I'm cutting down on the skittles shortly anyway but the lunch/sweets tally should be low or non-existent. Another sad thing is that I got no debt paid off although the rumpus with the CSA and countless letters and phone calls pointing out their mistake has resulted in my outlay to them being reduced by around £2,700 which is commendable. I'll be looking to reduce the gas total in February too as hopefully it will warm up a tad. The second half of the holiday amount will be due in February so that'll come under one-offs, so to speak.

:eek::eek: about the twins mum. I hope you know what you're doing!

Didn't you have her staying with you for a while not long ago? And decide she was a bit, erm, needy?

The spending doesn't look too bad to me, except for the lunches and sweets - tut tut to those.

    How's the writing going?
